Our family spend Saturday morning hiking at the Eldorado Nature Center in Long Beach. Here’s a short description of the Eldorado Nature Center.
El Dorado Nature Center is a 105-acre natural oasis nestled in Long Beach, California, offering a peaceful escape from urban life. Visitors can explore two miles of dirt trails and a ¼-mile paved path winding through lakes, streams, and forested areas. The center serves as a wildlife sanctuary, home to turtles, rabbits, and over 100 species of birds. At the entrance, a wooden bridge leads to the Visitor Center, featuring educational exhibits, an art gallery, and a gift shop with environmentally themed books and souvenirs. Whether you’re looking for a scenic walk, wildlife spotting, or a quiet retreat, El Dorado Nature Center is a hidden gem worth exploring.
We hiked on some of the dirt trails and were inspired by seeing so many happy families, and we also saw some turtles and squirrels. We were so inspired that we decided to create some coloring pages.
