Most parents of school age kids know what Minecraft is, but in case you don’t know, here’s a brief introduction. Minecraft is a fun game where you can build anything you imagine! You explore a big, blocky world full of trees, animals, and caves. You can dig for treasure, craft tools, and even fight monsters at night. There’s no right or wrong way to play—you can build castles, go on adventures, or just play with friends. It’s like playing with digital LEGO!

While fun, it can get addicting, and we are all about trying to reduce kids’ screen time. So here’s a craft project that can get your kids off the screen and creating a blocky world in real life. We’ve created a paper craft cube template that your kids can color and cut out. The template has a grid on it, so your kids can design their own cube styles to create their own worlds out of.
